Brown Crab shell
Latin name - Cancer pagurus
A classic shell and a UK favourite for dressed crab products - the "Brown Crab" shell is a great item. As UK minimum landing sizes become larger and larger so do the available shells but for food presentation this offers some unique opportunities.
We have various grades within a 12 to 21cm (yes 21cm!) size range (measured side to side). This product is generally stored and delivered frozen for optimum quality.
