Plastic Crab shell
Plastic crab shell (13cm side to side)
Produced using our own perfect mould of a Cancer Pagurus shell ("Brown Crab") we developed this to provide an ideally sized substitute for the natural Brown Crab shell. Ever increasing minimum landing sizes, to ensure long term fishery sustainability, have drastically reduced the availability of natural shells of this size. Our plastic product provides an identically shaped alternative.
This product is non-ovenable (maximum temperature 100 C) and manufactured using only Food Grade plastics. For the sake of Pola Minerals we hope this does not represent the future of presentation shells! However, as a workable substitute we intend it to add value to our range and give our customers the extra flexibility they require.
